Here we go, continuing with 7 different meditations. 🧘♀️ ⠀ ⠀ Let’s talk today about the 6th one: Noting Meditation.🧚

The purpose of noting meditation is to become more aware on what distracts your mind.🧠⠀ ⠀ It is a simple form of meditation, done finding a quite place to let your mind drift and notice the upcoming thoughts or feelings.🧜♀️⠀ ⠀ Asking yourself, is it actually a thought or a feeling?⠀ ⠀ Simple noting it, identifying it and letting go.⠀ ⠀ And “flowing with it” till the other comes in. Again and again noting, if it is a thought or feeling?⠀

⠀ You might be asking already: "What is the difference between a thought and a feeling?".
⠀ We always firstly get the feeling, however weird it might sound.
After a while we identify it more as a though thinking more about it.
⠀ ⠀ So thoughts are the things we say to ourselves.⠀ ⠀ It is our stories we create. ⠀ And those stories tend to create us even more feelings.⠀
⠀ The key is to simple be more and more aware of our feelings.⠀
