DAY 80. NOTING MEDITATION

Here we go, continuing with 7 different meditations. šŸ§˜ā€ā™€ļø ā € ā € Let’s talk today about the 6th one: Noting Meditation.šŸ§šā€

The purpose of noting meditation is to become more aware on what distracts your mind.šŸ§ ā € ā € It is a simple form of meditation, done finding a quite place to let your mind drift and notice the upcoming thoughts or feelings.šŸ§œā€ā™€ļøā € ā € Asking yourself, is it actually a thought or a feeling?ā € ā € Simple noting it, identifying it and letting go.ā € ā € And ā€œflowing with itā€ till the other comes in. Again and again noting, if it is a thought or feeling?ā €

ā € You might be asking already: "What is the difference between a thought and a feeling?".

ā € We always firstly get the feeling, however weird it might sound.

After a while we identify it more as a though thinking more about it.

ā € ā € So thoughts are the things we say to ourselves.ā € ā € It is our stories we create. ā € And those stories tend to create us even more feelings.ā €

ā € The key is to simple be more and more aware of our feelings.ā €
