DAY 41. GROUNDING


Mindfulness is grounding YOURSELF to the earth.

I have talked few times about the importance of spending time in nature in regards to mindfulness, during this 100 days mindfulness challenge.

Yet, I barely touched the importance of grounding, which basically means connecting to the ground surface.

Touching the ground with your feet, getting that energy flowing through you.

From a scientific perspective, the idea is that the earth has a mild negative charge to it.

Over time, especially in modern life, our bodies build up a positive charge.

Direct contact with the earth can even out this positive charge and return the body to a neutral state.

Now, it is your choice to believe it or not, but I know this: any time I spend more time barefoot - I feel freakishly good.
