DAY 8. GRATITUDE

Mindfulness is PRACTISING gratitude.
🧚♀️
That one big word PRACTISING.
Cause it is a practice, building gratitude muscles of learning.
So often we feel that we are grateful enough. I mean, who would admit that they are not thankful enough, doh!

Yet, most often we thank just for the compliments and good deeds.
For the joys we get.
And even there we sometimes forget to genuinely thank snapping “ow, I know”, “ but I am always awesome” jokes.
Genuine thanks is a gorgeous skill.

But, hey, we need to learn to thank for the mistakes, failures, and even those “absolutely nothing comes good out of it” shitty situations.
Cause yes, even those have some goodness or advantages,
Sometimes we just need to “twist” our minds.
We simple need to do our training.
My favorite practice is simple saying in my mind 3-5 things that I am thankful for, each evening before the bed.
The more precise and detailed - the better.
